Dr Felice Apicella, born in S. Vitaliano (NA) on 20 April 1946, is resident and domiciled in Florence. He is a full-time medical director of General Surgery, general and thoracic surgeon, employed at the 1st General Surgery Unit of the New Hospital "San Giovanni di Dio" in Florence, via Torregalli n.3, switchboard tel. 055/71921, of the Health Authority 10 of Florence.

Registered in the Register of Surgeons of the Province of Florence

1-Education and Qualifications:

-Degree in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Florence in 1972;

-Expertise in Internal Ultrasound (diagnostic and interventional),1978;

-Internship with Prof HHHolm, Copenhagen-Denmark, Herlev Hospital, for interventional ultrasound in September 1978.

-Specialization in General Surgery in 1979;

-Specialization in Endocrine Surgery in 1982;

-National Eligibility as Chief of General Surgery in 1983;

-Specialization in Thoracic Surgery in 1985;

-Suitable result in the competition for Chief of General Surgery, 1988, USL n.4 (Castelnuovo Garfagnana);
